1: A fib is a lie. Fibs are usually small lies that one tells to impress their friends and co-workers. Fibs usually involve elaborate stories about how the fibber hooked up with some hot girl, beat up some guy, or were someplace that they really were not. Fibbers are usually repeat offenders, and tell fibs often to anyone who will listen. It is best to avoid fibbers and their fib stories. They can chew your ear off for hours, telling fib, after fib, after fib.

2: If Chicago started with an "I", the rest of Illinios would have the same acronym for people from Chicago. The rest of Illinois views Chicagoans as a plague of locusts on good, honest, hard-working people from outside of the Chicago metro, who suck up all of their resources, right down to their souls, and then cop a FIB attitude towards them when they complain about it.

1: Fucking Illinois Bastard. Common insult if you're from Illinois going to Wisconsin. If you want to piss us off; say our state name with the "s" as that's a common thing in Iowa. The "s" is silent fuckball. Those of you who are writing fanfiction of Early Edition get our accent right, dammit. And don't use the word 'sammich' that's our joke. flatlander is another I heard too, April Derleth was careful not to use either of these terms as she worked with a few out of Chicago.

He heard me call him a cheesehead, as he goes, "let me guess you're a fib, as only those from Chicago will use the term 'cheesehead' as it's chased with the fuck relative."

1: Verb – to fib. To be harmonically proportionate in face or body features. Fib could also stand for rapid, exponential growth.
