1: A well put together guy, who can protect and look after people he cares about. Dirks can be immature sometimes, but know how to crack a joke at the best time. They’ll make jokes when you’re upset to cheer you up, and when they’re trying to help you feel better they’ll succeed. He looks after people he cared about, and trusts a certain few with his secrets. Dirks are the most upbeat you’ll ever see, unless they’re tired. If you befriend a Dirk, you’re the luckiest person alive.

1: To dirk someone, or multiple people. A sort of mildly-threatening dance involving a rigid front leg, and generally a textbook get-em-up. Dirks take many forms, and are indeed unique to the individual.

1: A Dirk is someone who is extremely loyal and no matter what he goes through with you, he will always remain by your side through thick and thin. He is a great friend who will offer to pay for your meal or take the the blow for something so your life can be better. His work as a great friend often gets overlooked by you because he is your best friend but you don’t know how great he is to you and he needs to be rewarded and noticed more. Dirk is truly a 1 in a million. It’s kinda like how Dirk Nowitzki has stayed so loyal to the Mavericks through everything and has taken pay cuts and brought them a championship and how no one talks about him being an all time great. Kinda like how he got robbed of the last all star spot from Kobe cause it was his last year. Dirk was having a better season and should have been in. That means Dirk should be an automatic all star his last year right?

1: Dirk is the name of a really sweet guy who is very complicated and likes to make it seem like he's got everything under control (even if his life is a mess). Dirk's are usually very passionate about the things they love and can get pretty defensive if someone tells them they're doing it "wrong". Dirk's are commonly very caring and would do anything for the people they love, but they also like to appear emotionally detached and they most likely have very low self-esteem. If you know someone named Dirk and they consider you a friend you should know that they truly care about you even if they don't talk to you very much, he just has a lot on his plate.
