2:  The original term 'zonked' was coined by Ken Kesey and his band of Merry Pranksters. It originally meant that you were high on LSD. Nowadays, it just refers to being stupendously stoned, on any drug.

  * e.g.,  ...  Jim is so zonked. He drank some of the electric koolaid.

1: To be extremely tired or inebriated.

  * e.g.,  ... "After I got home from the strip club, I zonked out on the couch."

1:  very tired intoxicated, especially with alcohol

1: Extremely intoxicated. Usually refers to alcohol intoxication but can also apply to marijuana or other drugs.

1: Realization of past, outlandish actions and deeds to others without remorse that cause grief and despair, leading to depression, lackadaisical wonderment, career limitations, loss of respect and guilt.

  * e.g.,  ... Byline in some newspaper:"Phillip Smith, one time magnanimous and egotistic General Manager of Company X, was seen in a zonked stupor, out on his lawn, late at night, with little clothing, openly drooling and rambling gibberish fueled statements that include "I am still the boss" and "my calves are big, why arent I"? His wife was seen pleading with neighbors to call the local authorities.
