1: A word which used to refer to the male getting married at a wedding or, as a verb, meant to look ater your appearance. However it has recently been hijacked by the press and now refers to the action in which a paedophile pursues an individual child via the internet.

  * e.g.,  ... "I hear that record producer king guy has been grooming kids over the internet since his release"

1: Male principal in a wedding ceremony.

  * e.g.,  ... The scared groom was as stiff as a broom.

1: Either of two male principals in a civil union.

  * e.g.,  ... The horny grooms were stiff as brooms on their wedding night!

  * e.g.,  ... I used to be happy now I am married! 

 [ "Grooming" ]

1: When a sexual or other kind of predator sets the stage for abusing another, such as a child or other person (as in the case of sex and theory human trafficking). Trust: May give toys and/or other gifts and favors to the intended victim to gain trust. Alienation: Settings the stage for the intended victim to become alienated from their primary caregivers/circles or family and community. Fear/dependency: Sets up a power dynamic in which the victim feels too afraid to report the abuse, perhaps by involving the victim in activities their friends and family might judge the victim negatively for, such as drug use (or even the abuse itself).

  * e.g.,  ... By the time the girl understood how bad her situation had become the neighbor had been grooming her so carefuly and for so long that she felt she could not go home or to the police and so saw no way out of her situation. Thankfully a relative noticed her distress and had the sense to seek help from the county's intervention program.

1: Being groomed is what it's called when a younger child under the age of 18 is sexually exploited by an adult or someone way older than them. Teens and even kids get groomed at a young age for being easy to manipulate, which is why creeps called "groomers" go for them.

2: Theres nothing a teenager can provide for an adult besides their innocence which will get them taken advantage of and groomed. It's best to stay away from older men or woman who act flirty toward you. you're not special to them they will just use you.

1: Training, preparing or conditioning someone, usually over a longer period of time. Also used to refer to a paedophile's process of building trust with a child, wearing down the child's boundaries.

  * e.g.,  ... "The tutor we hired was a good investment; he's grooming my son for a prestigious college." 

 [ "Groome" ]

1: n. A creature that has the mixed heritage of a night owl and a screeching monkey with a bad nose cold. Uncommonly polite, dedicated to good grammar and proper etiquette, the Groome will often correct people when they say something that doesn't sound right to it, but is often confused when an inordinate number of people do inpolite things at once. In these situations it will snap and utter the word 'Shhhhh!', which in its native language means 'I am a rascist'. v. causing someone pain acute to wrapping the palm around their testicles (or labia) and squeezing hard while tearing away the skin. This was used as a medieval torture method for many years, but is now just a metaphor, can mean mental pain. adj. when someone is Groome, they can be described as having either the appearance or behavior of a cross between a screech monkey with a nose cold and a night owl.

  * e.g.,  ... n. I was trying to get some sleep in class, but then that Groome told me to sit in the back! v. Ugh, i bombed that test, that teacher Groomed me alright. adj. She looks just like a Groome! 

 [ "Grooming" ]

1: The act of luring another with gifts, favors, promises, praise, or bbq ribs with the intent of gaining sexual favors. The perpetrator of "grooming" must have a significant advantage of emotional intelligence, financial independence, intelligence quotient or simply perpetrating against a minor.

  * e.g.,  ... Greg- "Hey Corky, would you like some of my tasty barbeque ribs while you watch the baseball game?" Corky- "Sure. Corky hungry! Corky loves ribs!" Greg- "Enjoy, you'll be giving me a {reach-around} later..." Corky- "Huh?" Greg- "Just {grooming} you. Finish your beer so we can go to my place."

1: Cleaning and putting in order your fur (as an animal) or your hair and clothes (as a human).

  * e.g.,  ... The bridegroom is perfectly groomed, and the bride looks wonderful!

2: Grooming as a job is most often performed on horses, but in zoos and circuses all sorts of animals need grooming.

  * e.g.,  ... When grooming your horse, you need brushes, towels, combs and sometimes even a vacuum cleaner.
