1: When two people meet and one or both of them do not at first recall having met before, most frequently because of alcohol consumption but sometimes because one of the people just has a lousy memory. Although it is a second (or third!) encounter, they remeet as if for the first time.

  * e.g.,  ... "Hey, I'm Gavin."

1: When the guy you use to bang for two years suddenly appears at a bar and pretends he doesn’t know you it’s a (remeet)

  * e.g.,  ... Kevin: Oh hey! Rebec... I mean, have we met? Rebecca: (extends hand) Pleased to remeet you

1: The "remeet" term, created by Amela Guy. on the 4th of January 2017 represents a fusion between the word "reschedule" and the word "meeting" and therefore creating the weirdly sounding word "remeet"that means to reschedule a meeting.

  * e.g.,  ... Can we remeet tomorrow instead?
