Commonly used by english teens, often buying into the fast growing subculture of emo. 1)Supposedly meaning spontaneous and off the wall by ignorant people. 2) how a large proportion of the myspace community describe themselves. 3) A way for morons to pretend they are capable of original though when actually every aspect of their lives is planned out meticulously with out fail.

1: For the love of God, stop using this word. It's not clever, it's not funny and it's not original. You sound just the same as all the other clone-like teenagers who think they're oh so unique for saying it. Give it a fucking rest.

1: Something or a group of things that follow no criteria or pattern. A word often misused by morons who don't know very many other words.

Could be used as the focal point of the next general election campaign, eg 'We pledge to take forceful action against the word random, and against those that promote or condone its misuse, for example 14 year-olds. A special street task force will be created and empowered to clamp down on this blight sweeping our nation, using extreme force and/or death to eliminate offenders.'
