1: This word is most appropriately used when someone is proven wrong in an embarassing manner. It is not simply a matter of making a mistake, or being embarassed, but is most properly used when someone has vehemently defended a position and been proven wrong.

2: It is also most appropriately used during a battle of insults when someone offers a better retort to someone's innitial attack.

  * e.g.,  ... Person 1 - Asians suck at football. There has never been a good asian football player 

 [ "on mode" ]

1: "On mode" means something is temporarily broken down with the high expectation that it will be back in order quickly.

  * e.g.,  ... In the aftermath of the hurricane, the cruise ships in the ocean are on mode until they will be given clearance to return to the ports.

1: It's slang from Young Justice. It's when you're feeling bad or hurt.

  * e.g.,  ... Guy 1: did you go to Kyle and Tyler's fight yesterday?

1: A word used to put someone in their place after they've been proved wrong.

  * e.g.,  ... 1st guy:"Look at that tight Lexus rolling down the street"

1: Derived from the term "demoted." Used to add insult to injury when someone has been proven wrong in a public manner or to bring much more public attention from an otherwise oblivious crowd to another person’s erroneous assumption or verbal gaff. Basically, another way of saying “Dude, you’ve been demoted.” Often used for either the purposes of ego deflation of a "modee" or self-aggrandizement of the “moder.”

  * e.g.,  ... (1980s California version): “Ooooooh, moded!”

1: State of mind, way of acting, how your feeling.

  * e.g.,  ... Today was ace, in a right happy mode.

2: being put down, stained on, or otherwise humilated.

  * e.g.,  ... Susie - 'It's a birth mark'

1: looking like a model. having model-like qualities

  * e.g.,  ... dang her pic is so modely!

1: A state of absolute understanding and truth, regardless of what one considers truth or holds to be their beliefs.

  * e.g.,  ... When things that are not involentary become involentary, such as tapping fingers, moving an arm, or even driving a car without thinking about it at all.

2: A state of ego loss which effects the person positivley

  * e.g.,  ... Being able to make things happen by only thinking about them, but only in such a case of opening the jaw. Assuming that you have a set pattern of thought to make muscles move in your mind, and accessing them by a different thought pattern, seeming like you aren't trying to move at all.

3: When one is so into their own mind, everything is in a state of serenity.

  * e.g.,  ... "She was driving and she just ran the red light, didn't even slow down or swerve or nothin, MAN, I guess she was just in the mode"

4: Where everything seems so apparently true, and there are no questions you have that cannot be answered by your own thought.

  * e.g.,  ... "Last night I was in the mode man, I had it all figured out, but as soon as I had it, right there, I forgot it all and ended up passing out in a state of confusion"

5: Being very high.

6: The mind has questions it cannot answer, questions presented by the reality that one assumes is real and lives in. The mode is a loss of the beleif that you must accept that a fact is a fact, and that truth is truth. You create answers, and not being bound by what reality says can and can't happen, deciding your own truth. Building off of the truths you decide, you make your own reality that seems to be absolute, and you actually make yourself believe that you have lead yourself to the answer, you create your own truth becase your string of thoughts is never defeated by your perception of the facts or the outside world.

7: A seeming understanding of everything, being completley lost in ones own realization the outside world does not effect them.
