1: Who fucking knows anymore? First, it meant factual, and now it means fictional. What the fuck, internet... what the fuck?

  * e.g.,  ... wrong-->"Oh my god, Jessica, your post literally scared me to death" right--> "I literally wrote this post at 3:04 A.M."

1: a word with no meaning in today's USA.

  * e.g.,  ... Person 1: I am literally going to have a stroke if I see another tweet about fake news.

1: used to describe something that actually happens or exists. One of the most overused words in modern society. Not to be confused with figuratively, as this is the complete opposite.

  * e.g.,  ... Incorrect usage: A: It was literally raining cats and dogs. B: Really dipshit? How many scratches do you have? Correct usage:

1: A good way to show that you are a total drama queen twit is to use the term 'literally' to describe every mundane thing that you do in life

  * e.g.,  ...  The literacy rate is 97% in America, meaning 97% of Americans can read and write.

  * e.g.,  ...  The difference between a literate roleplayer and an advanced roleplayer is that being advanced specifically states that you are good at writing (i.e. descriptions, characters) but literate just means you have good grammar, although they're often used interchangeably.

4: A good roleplayer. Specifically, a literate roleplayer does not use chatspeak, spells word correctly, and has proper usage and grammar. Literates are less likely to be desperates or n00bs and generally roleplays well.

1: Exactly. A replacement for the often erroneously used “literally.”

1: The feeling of wanting to litter or throw fruits off of buildings.

  * e.g.,  ... "I am feeling very literous" is what he said as he tossed his can of coke out the window of his car. "I am a very literous individual' thought damon as he continued to dump watermelons out of the trunk of his expeditions

1: 1) A person possessing reading and writing skills that remain acceptable by the standards of the English language.
