This abhorrent method of vandalism usually requires heavy practice and advanced physical contortion skills of the perpetrator. Usual suspects include perturbed musicians, hysterical fans, and the psychotic or inebriated. Named after the Gretsch "Jim Dandy" model parlor guitar, which are often the victims of this heinous act.
