1: When you are indirectly mugged by someone which you have no affiliation with and they take your possessions without you realising

  * e.g.,  ... My friend Jimmy got indirectly mugged the other day. He left his wallet in his gym bag and someone stole all his cash from his wallet. He really hates being indirectly mugged. 

 [ "'Begging Wife Indirectly'" ]

1: When guys blatantly act out of character for the sole sake of impressing, swooning, and scoring brownie points with the female population... ...only to reveal their true colours within a few Facebook comments, Facebook posts, or within a few minutes... ...even though the females are too busy wiping up the moisture between their legs to notice that their knight in shining armour aka Prince Valiant Cassanova is just a fraud who is trying to get into their panties using techniques that are not respected or sanctioned by the "Guy Code." These posts are usually PAINFULLY OBVIOUS to ANY GUY reading, but they seem to slip right below women's radars.... and into their panties.

  * e.g.,  ... Did you see the way those chicks were all swooning over that asshole's Facebook status even though he was just 'Begging Wife Indirectly'? No matter how much of an asshole he has proved himself to be, all he had to type was, "Every woman deserves a man who makes her forget that her heart was ever broken," and them dumb brawds came running. The game's changing... for the worse. 

 [ "indirectly hooked up" ]

1: hooking up with the same person that another person has hooked up with, therefore you hooked up with each other

  * e.g.,  ... julie and lisa both sucked william's little wiener. so they've indirectly hooked up 

 [ "indirectly direct status" ]

1: A status of any sort directed at someone without mentioning names so that everyone else can see it. This often leads to rebuffed attempts of sympathy from anyone not involved.

  * e.g.,  ... John posts a status: thanks a lot, you've completely ruined everything. Jane comments on his status: what's up? John replies: never mind Jenny comments in the status: this is an indirectly direct status! 

 [ "indirectly slide" ]

1: When you slide into someone's dms for a friend to help them out.

  * e.g.,  ... If a friend needs help but doesn't want to socialize he/she can ask you or another friend to indirectly slide into their dms, this way you can put in a good word for them. 

 [ "Indirectly one up" ]

1: When someone uses someone else to be better than you without realizing it because they are a dumb-ass.

  * e.g.,  ... Indirectly one up-My friend terry uses his other friend to indirectly one- up me by telling me that she drives and paid for her own car because he's way more un-accomplished than me. He probably does it unintentionally but it pisses me off nevertheless.

1: When u see this on a list of characters it’s when someone is mentioned but not reffered to by name

  * e.g.,  ... In ripped pants Characters French Narrator 

 [ "Indirectly Famous" ]

1: “Indirectly Famous” refers to being a part of something famous, but not being named as part of it.

  * e.g.,  ... “More than a hundred people worked on Avengers: Endgame!” Josh exclaimed.
