1: A term used where people come to a grocery seore ,rip open packages of food eating the contents & leave without paying for the items.

  * e.g.,  ... Store security just caught two guys grazing by the chip & cookie aisle today!

1: Making a meal out of eating a little bit of a lot of things.

  * e.g.,  ... Person A: Dude, you got any plans for dinner?

1: When affluent young urbanites flit to and fro trendy bars and restraunts, consuming designer snacks - from "Zippy the Pinhead" by Bill Griffin

  * e.g.,  ... Let's go grazing: we'll do the whole town and get tapas, miniature desserts, sushi, designer cocktails, and whatever else is hot now.

1: The act of looking busy in the office without doing any meaningful work. Usually involves writing personal emails, scribbling random things down, pensive staring at the PC screen, occasional moving of the mouse etc.

  * e.g.,  ... Ah well, it's almost 4 O’Clock – no point starting that report now. I’ll just have a couple hours grazing.

1: A low impact slap, which is often used as an alternative to a bitch slap. Used not to injure the other party; only to express friendliness or affection.

  * e.g.,  ... Rain: Justin bitch slapped me. 

 [ "Grazed" ]

1: 1) When someone 'deadens' or 'kills' an ongoing joke. 2) Can also be used to describe someone who frequently 'kills' jokes, creates awkward situations, and is just generally cringey. This person would then be known as a Graze.

  * e.g.,  ... 1) *everyone is laughing at ongoing jokes and conversation, someone adds in an unfunny comment that stops everyone laughing* - "man, you just Grazed it." 2) "oh him? don't invite him, he's the biggest Graze"

1: To eat food in a grocery store, then not pay for it. Usually done while legitimately shopping at said store.

  * e.g.,  ... I was so hungry by the time I got to Stop & Shop, I ended up grazing a bit--I had an apple, some Fritos, and a chocolate milk.

1: To eat a lot of food without actually having a proper meal, usually in the context of picking at food that is readily available at a buffet.

  * e.g.,  ... "Okay, I'm off to the buffet to graze for a while"
