1: the act of putting someone down , trying to make them feel low, treating someone in a horrible manner, showing a person that they mean less than nothing to you, a hurtful act that is both rude and ignorant towards another persons feeling

  * e.g.,  ... name calling, putting someone down, trying to make someone else feel bad or sad or low, disrespectful

1: the act of knocking off someone's hat, their papers and books off their desk after they have said something stupid or just because you wanted to. Then saying " You just got disrespected" or just "disrespect" after you do it.

1: (in a fighting game) To treat your opponent as your plaything. This usually involves playing poorly and/or in an excessively flashy way, knowing that your opponent can’t punish you for it.

1: This is a phrase to exclaim when a person is being overly disrespectful. If someone is being disrespectful, just say "the disrespect" and the God of karma will snatch them up and swallow them whole.

1: a phrase tacked on to the end of a sentence that has a mitigating effect on any horribly offensive content preceding it. Used mostly in New Jersey and surrounding areas.

1: Not treating others in a manner you would expect to be treated. Not considering the feelings of another person.
