1: In Australia, it is a derogatory word denoting a person who saps all the fun out of any given situation. Derived from the temperance movement in Australia and New Zealand at the turn of the C20th, when it was hurled as an accusation towards conservative teetotallers who were too prim and proper to relax and socialise, it has become a more generic term that can be assigned to any straight bore lacking a sense of humour, especially petty bureaucrats and Aussies politicians.

1: a term used to describe a teetoller who wants to ban alcohol consumtion, The term originated in the early 1900s by hotel owners and patrons to describe members of the Womans Christian League in both Australia and New Zealand who campaigned for temperance and prohibition but narrowly failed in nurturing the latter in both countries.

1: Name for someone that does not what to get in trouble. OR they do not want to do anything harmful or dangerous so they stay away from it. Someone who does not do anything fun. Sometimes; A goody two shoes.

1: Originaly from the movie/show "Inspecter gadget", it would be Inspecter Gadget's word when he would solve a clue or something very hard. Just like jinkies from scooby doo. This word can have two meanings, one for surprise

2: or shock and the other as a sexual slang word for sperm.

3: This word is rarely used in any case. Its mostly made fun of or to crack jokes with.

1: A word used when somebody is suprised in a positive way, it is known from inspecter gadget.

1: Australian slang used to describe someone who is considered to be not fun, i.e. overcomplicates matters, doesn't drink an amount of alcohol deemed socially appropriate, disagrees with the sentiments of a group. Specifically the term is likely to be applied to a man who is viewed to be judging the morals of his accusers and/or setting himself apart as morally "better" than others. It's pretty dated, but not entirely out of use. Australians very much like to believe that we are a classless society. Therefore, depending on context, "wowser" could be more offensive than well-known swear words.
