1: somebody who thinks they are great musician, when in reality they do shitty cabana music.

  * e.g.,  ... Person A: Talked to Jimbo back there near the bar, he was so cocky talking about new jobs in hollywood as a musician.

1: someone who trips out weather being on drugs or not

1: A Lip Tripper is another name for a Tongue Twister.

  * e.g.,  ... "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers" is a difficult Lip Tripper. 

 [ "day tripper" ]

1: English slang for one who travels to a tourist site only for the day. A day trip might be to picnic in the countryside, or if you live in the country, to visit London by train. Used by the Beatles to denote a woman who is only having a brief affair, with no intention of getting serious.

  * e.g.,  ... She was a day tripper, a one-way ticket .... 

 [ "Fall Tripper" ]

1: A grown man who ascends on the 1000 Island region of NY to drink beer, play cards, and fish for Northern Pike

  * e.g.,  ... I was at the brewery last night and met a Fall Tripper, he seemed so happy. 

 [ "Jack Tripper" ]

1: Pulling a "Jack Tripper" describes a situation/conversation whereas 2 or more parties are talking - or overhearing - different subjects, but don't realize it. The misunderstanding is usually rife with sexual innuendo. This type of comedy exchange was used extensively in the 80's sitcom "Three's Company", hence the name.

  * e.g.,  ... Jack Tripper: Mr. Furley is standing outside the bathroom and eavesdropping while Jack and Chrissy are installing a shower curtain Okay, Chrissy, I'll get in the tub with you, then we can get it on.
