1: verb - the action of taking an answered that is simplified and extending the answer to the point of complete and utter obscurity, unreadable by anyone, yet still correct BS

  * e.g.,  ... I wanted to copy your answer without getting caught, so I simplificated it! Let's see the bastard catch me now!! 

 [ "snake-oil simplification" ]

1: When someone oversimplifies a task in order to get your buy-in. This is something done typically by sales people in order to clinch a sale, or by software management in order to convince developers to assign small estimates to large and complicated tasks

  * e.g.,  ... That mgmt slide show was a total snake-oil simplification! When you think about it for a few minutes its clear that providing the functionality described will be a lot more complicated than just plugging component A into server B. Who agreed to the effort estimates on this anyway!?!? We're screwed man, we'll never make this date!

1: A combination of SIMPLIFy and LiFe used for the movements involved in downshifting, simple living, degrowth, and anti-consumerism.

  * e.g.,  ... I realize that my carbon footprint is to big and I'm going to SIMPLiFe.

1: To dumb things down or make things easier

  * e.g.,  ... Instead of showing my cousin something complicated, I showed him in a simplifered way.
