1: A boring-like speech given for an extended period of time by a so-called expert in his field for the sole purpose of teaching the audience a subject or valuable lesson. Sermons are often delivered to the audience by total hypocrites, so please tread with caution.

  * e.g.,  ... Examples include: Church sermons by a priest/pastor/preacher Commencement addresses at graduation ceremonies Parents to their children whenever they do something the parents used to do that they now feel is wrong

1: verb: • informal - to give a long or tedious piece of admonition or reproof; a lecture. origin: first popularized by the unlucky inhabitants and visitors of the CrackShack

  * e.g.,  ... It wasn't uncommon at the CrackShack to find JonnyPorno getting drunk, trapping unsuspecting visitors and making them listen to him sermonate.

1:  Writing a Sermon, or simply preparing for one Actually preaching said Sermon

  * e.g.,  ... Ya, today i spent the whole day sermonizing in the Library for Sunday. -or- Ya, on Sunday i sermonized the bejesus out of my Church!

1: This is the preaching of a naive, but self-righteous person who thinks that they know more about life than others.

  * e.g.,  ... The sophomore was child sermonizing about worldwide ills in a way that would be laughable, if not so obnoxious!

1: When some asshole sends a long overwritten message to you and blocks you in a attempt to cut you off from your friends. This move is typically performed by insecure creeps with no concept of how interpersonal relationships work, let alone a hairbrush. These are also the ones that label people as "toxic" for no reason - loves high horses even when proven wrong

  * e.g.,  ... It's funny, I was going to see Evelyn and Tina tonight but got sermon-blocked by Dermit. Y'know it's funny how she had the time to sermon-block me without checking herself

1: Matthew chapters 5-7. Where Jesus said many important and incredible things, like: "if someone takes your cloak, give them your tunic also," "be the salt and light of the earth," don't boast when you give to the poor and don't pursue revenge--etc, etc.

1: When a female is riding cowgirl and screaming coherent biblical terms, or terms related to religion, as if she was giving a sermon.

  * e.g.,  ... This girl was riding me and just broke out a sermon on the mount.

1: The act of having sex, before 6 PM, on a Sunday.

  * e.g.,  ... Guy 1: "We don't usually have sex on a Sunday, but when we do, it's a Sunday Sermon." Guy 2: "Ah man, I love a good Sunday Sermon."
