1: People who look at someone/something out of curiosity - even when they're not supposed to.

  * e.g.,  ... A fight began behind my friends and I. I didn't turn around , but all my friends did - ugh they're such rubbernecks sometimes.

1: Slang: Someone who enjoys the act of slowing their vehicle to like 15 miles an hour on a motorway just so they can gawk at the wreckage of a van on its roof or a car on fire.

1: Idiots who slow down to gawk or stare at minor traffic accidents, pulled over drivers, or people with car trouble on the highway or roads. Rubbernecking causes traffic jams and more accidents due to drivers distracting themselves from the road.
