1: When one is in a relationship that both people know is ending and one of the two people starts to look for another relationship. This could be described as cheating but is usually not recognized as such as both people know that the end of the current relationship is emminent.

1: noun - the occurance of dating two people at one time, when one relationship is ending and anther is beginning.

2: verb - to have two dating relationships that are beginning and ending concurrently.

1: When two people have hooked up with at least one person in common, usually used when the number is a lot more.

1: Typically performed by someone who is not loyal. They will constantly move around looking for the 'next best thing'. If you date an overlapper, you need to constant look over your shoulder. It doesn't matter how much you tell them that you love them, they will immediately and without warning start dating someone else. If they are a coward, they will break up with you and give you a completely different reason for the break up (e.g. they will lie and not admit they are breaking up because they found someone else). If they are particularly selfish, they will deny you had a relationship at all.
