1: doing sth without following the standards or procedures

  * e.g.,  ... don't do the experiment off the book! 

 [ "off da books" ]

1: to make money illegally, such as not reporting it in your income taxes. i.e., drug money, gambling, etc.

  * e.g.,  ... "gettin mad money off da books this year" 

 [ "that ride is off da books" ]

1: A vehicle that is completely "decked out" as far as engine, audio system and anything else found inside a vehicle.

  * e.g.,  ... The judge at the car show said "that ride is off da books!" 

 [ "Off Book" ]

1: When you have memorized all of your lines.

  * e.g.,  ... Girl 1: Are you off book yet? 

 [ "Off-your-Face-Booking" ]

1: Going online to social networking sites eg. Facebook after a few too many drinks and doing things you may later regret or even forget.

  * e.g.,  ... "I was stupidly Off-your-Face-Booking last night and poked some people I shouldn't have!!" 

 [ "blowing the dust off the book" ]

1: when one brings up a joke or a bit from the past

  * e.g.,  ... wow bro my handwriting used to be- and I'm really blowing the dust off the book with this one, dog water. but now its good
