1: An exclamation that usually follows a double-entendre, as a way of showing that the author is aware of making said double-entendre. Derived from the 'Carry on' series of films.

1: to talk down to as if one is a dominating woman; the feminine form of "patronize"

  * e.g.,  ... Yo, you gonna let your girlfriend matronize you like that? 

 [ "matronizing" ]

1: Acting in a kind fashion which belies a brutal, motherly and domineering intention.

  * e.g.,  ... "Gretel Killeen, the host of Australia's Big Brother, is the most matronizing person I know." 

 [ "matronation" ]

1: Matronation is a state of ignoring reality while arguing and fighting over trivial things. A person in a state of matronation is usually a troll or an Internet nag.

  * e.g.,  ... She would never discuss the topic at hand, all she wanted to do is argue, her matronation makes everyone sick. 

 [ "Matronizing" ]

1: When a woman treats a man with an apparent kindness that betrays a feeling of superiority.

  * e.g.,  ... "If you are a good boy, ill make it worth your while!" "Dont be so matronizing." 

 [ "matronize" ]

1: To manipulate by pretending to be excessively feminine or helpless. A female version of patronize. Used by men, women, and children

  * e.g.,  ... I'm just no good at doing laundry. You're so much better at it than I am. You're so strong. I never could have changed that tire without you. My arms are too tired to carry the rest of the groceries in without dropping them. Don't matronize me, you are perfectly capable of doing that.

 [ "power matron" ]

1: An older woman usually 60 years or older, impeccably put together. Hair, makeup, & clothing together makes you look twice and admire her overall style.

  * e.g.,  ... WOW, Who was that Power Matron in the car with you? 

 [ "dutch matron" ]

1: a respected woman, known for her skill in performing dutch sex acts (e.g. dutch rudder, dutch porpoise, dutch sandwich, also coordinating dutch slave ships)

  * e.g.,  ... Ryan Seacrest (dutch matron numero uno)
