1: a personal character trait that is considered detrimental to mental health, due to its association with stress and anxiety. An insecure person may or may not lack their own self-worth, rather they feel overriding doubt that they can pursue a task to its conclusion without moral support. This may be linked to events in the past that have caused them to lose confidence due to negative feedback or ridicule in social or personal circumstances. These criticisms are usually personal in nature. Insecurity is a trait that often precedes an act but it may disappear during its performance and reappear after its completion, as many artists such as Judy Garland would testify.

  * e.g.,  ... I feel so insecure about my voice and appearance before I go on stage but as soon as I am in front of an audience I come alive.

1: When you feel like you're not good enough, you spend hours trying to look your best. You push people away because you're used to being used and people turning their backs. You lie, not about things to seem cool but you lie about being okay. Even if asked repeatedly you still say "youre fine " . people of all ages can suffer with it. And they tend to be the people who are the most caring.

1: Someone who insults others to hide their own weaknesses.

  * e.g.,  ... Look at that kid. He insults others caling them immature when he is immature himself. Insecure freak.

1: A flawed character/personality trait that makes a man (usually), who is not happy with himself, lie about his pathetic life to cover his failures. He will “invent” people, situations or things to boost his image. He will reiterate his numerous “successes” to look superior. If he has a girlfriend he will disrespectfully read her diary, monitor her conversations or spy on her to see if she is cheating. If he is in public with his woman, he gets jealous when a guy looks at her (which is actually a compliment) because he is threatened by another man and knows deep down that he isn’t worthy of her. He feels as though his sense of self-worth (or lack of it) is found in the woman in his life because he must have a woman and sex to be happy. He will also talk bad about others to make himself feel better.

  * e.g.,  ... Insecure people are extremely needy, lonely, miserable losers who need to get a life.

1: Insecure is a guy who lies a lot and dosent have much to do with his time. He will lie and make it look like he works or has a good job when he lives with his mother and can't pay for anything. He's usually in his 30's and is very unsuccessful and unambitious. He will not have a car of his own, a house or a girlfriend. Nothing that normal people have. He fills his time trying to make peoples lives miserable because he is miserable inside and a failure at everything he does. Most likely he is unnatractive and may have some other condition such as problems interacting with people so he has a hard time socializing.

  * e.g.,  ... Mike is a balding 40 year old who lives at home. He is insecure and not comfortable with himself so he lies and creates mischief to fill the void in his life.

1: the depressed girl,who is so caring. the person who has anxiety and nobody understands what she is going threw.

1: Someone who doesn't have self-confidence, who is full of doubts about himself/herself.

  * e.g.,  ... I always tell her how beautiful she is but she won't believe me, she's so insecure.

1: Someone who extremely lacks self confidence. An insecure person, would be introverted. He/She won't know their worth. They would dislike their physical appearance & constantly compare themselves to their peers. Never feeling good enough, feeling sorry for themselves, feeling sorry for people who look at them. Insecure people are really kind at heart, they just don't love themselves. Due to the influence of other, be kind. Words do hurt, what you say matters.

  * e.g.,  ... I'm too insecure to go outside. I fear being judged based on my appearance.

1: An insecure person is someone who just feels like they need to compare themselves to others. They think that if they tell themselves that they are good enough that it will come true. What they don't know is that they are already good enough. They will see themselves as less than perfect, and hate themselves for it. If you or a friend is like this, know that you or them are amazing the way they are. If they see it or not.

  * e.g.,  ... Yep, that girl is insecure. we sould tell her she is amazing the way she is.

1: Being insecure is when you hate something about yourself. For example, some people are insecure about their acne, or their flat chest. And being insecure sucks especially when you're insecure about everything. And it takes a LOT of time and patience to get over your insecurities, and sometimes you never get over them. But I want you to know that you are a badass bitch and you are sooo beautiful and hopefully someday you realize that. But your brain just does this thing when you look at yourself where it points out all of the bad things about you and it's really difficult to train your brain not to do that. But it isn't impossible and its worth giving a try.
