1: The act of getting a rise out of someone knowing you'll get a rise. To knowingly push someone's buttons. To be inflammatory.

1: The act of inflamming or the state of being inflamed. a red, painful, and often swollen area in or on a part of your body .

  * e.g.,  ... TAKE ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS AS ASPIRIN , THEY WILL REDUCE YOUR INFLAMMATION AND RELIEVE YOUR PAIN . 

 [ "Inflammatory" ]

1: Inflammatory is an adjective to describe a person who decides to act like a jerk in order to make someone else mad. They may even say manipulative things or anything to get a reaction and incite negative emotions such as anger, sadness, anxiety, etc. For example, a person could say, "you don't want to see me." to a girlfriend who actually misses the boy, but he says an inflammatory line to get attention from her and maybe even just to mess with her. There is also a medical definition for the word inflammatory.

  * e.g.,  ... Jake was being inflammatory toward his ex girlfriend. He saw she dyed her hair from blonde to black, and when he saw her wearing it straight down, he told her she looks like the chick from The Ring movie! She was so pissed she started yelling at him!

 [ "IVS (Inflammatory Vaginal Syndrome)" ]

1: When a female in Heat sees a potential mate, the hormones that are released may trigger an involuntary reaction. This reaction causes blood to rush to the vaginal area, this swells and creates irritation and irritability. One is able to tell when a female has IVS when she starts sweating uncontrollably and breathing heavily when she sees a potential mate.

  * e.g.,  ... Your girlfriend got IVS (Inflammatory Vaginal Syndrome)when she saw me and offered to blow me. 

 [ "Non-Inflammatory Speech" ]

1: A speech that the crowd pays attention to but doesn't get the crowd enthusiastic. This should mainly be used when talking to and intellectual.

  * e.g.,  ... Announcer: "Today we will talk about solar energy and the effects of how the ....." Tim: " Cut it with the non-inflammatory speech and tell us when the pay cuts are going to happen!" 

 [ "Inflammatory" ]

1: Taking somebody's animal and claiming it as your own would be inflammatory. Moving to somebody's neighborhood and claiming it as your own would also be inflammatory if you're not originally from the neighborhood.

  * e.g.,  ... The girl tried to do as many inflammatory things as she could think of, and thought they were as hilarious to everybody else as they were to her.

1: Somebody that tries to restrict the access of others to buildings, restaurants, and other sites in their own towns, even if they are originally from those towns and the one trying to do the restricting isn't, despite nobody from that town ever going to her town and doing the same thing to her.

  * e.g.,  ... She (the awkward bubbly girl) really needed to quit fucking with people's lives, their community, and get out and never come back. Anything else would be inflammatory, which was what she was trying to be.

1: Moving to a neighborhood you're not from and claiming its everybody's is a lot like moving to a neighborhood you're not from and claiming its yours. The neighborhood you're from is yours, if you hold nothing sacred, you'll never understand why its inflammatory or what's inflammatory about it.

  * e.g.,  ... If everything was really everybody's, nobody would be getting turned away, whether for not wearing a mask, or for something else. The reality is not everything is everybody's, even if saying so turns into a double standard. Everyone has and makes double standards, they are in every rule and law people who try to poke fun at them make. You dont keep doing inflammatory shit and expect no consequences.

1: Something that provokes people for no reason. Instigates, antagonizes, or provokes.

  * e.g.,  ... Those dorks were now claiming to be letting the monsters into their own homes, which wasn't any less inflammatory than trying to have them kicked out of them. They must have thought the world owed it to them to make way for them and celebrate their presence there.
