1: someone not trying to be anything but himself, ussually bothers people who are sheep.

1: minds own self, doesnt care whatever people thinks of her, does things she wants to do, wears anything she wants to wear.

  * e.g.,  ... person: ew! thats such an ugly dress!

1: Someone who doesn't need a label like punk, emo, prep, jock. They wear what they want and listen to what they want and do what they want. They'll shop at Abercrombie, but will listen to underground screamo music. They won't say (or think) , "Oh, I can't buy this shirt. It's so punk! It's not prep enough! I'm a prep!" They'll have a friend who is all punk and a friend who is prep, but they don't see them that way. This is because they don't label other people either. They're usually against labels and stereotypes. They won't let people who label them influence them.

  * e.g.,  ... Individualist: Wow, I like these skinny jeans....

1: individualists are just people who dont want to be the norm, and becuase of the stupid assumtion that everyone must be something, they have aqquired this name. They arent goth or punk but htey are closer to that than of prep or chavs they just want to be themselves and be appreciated for who they are.

1: these are the people who call themselves individualists but arnt.. they insist on not being branded a name.. bt yet call themselves 'individualists' .. nd still follow other 'group members' .. why cant u jst say ure urself.. IM ME!!!

1: A person who dislikes judging people, he/she takes others the way they are.

  * e.g.,  ... Person1: Yo, you're wearing skinny jeans with a hoody person2: dude are you an emo, or a hip-hop freak Individualist: -_- keep your tags & labels to yourself, I'm simply me. I do what I like & I wear what I like

1: One who refuses to adhere to or conform to the ways and standards of others, and thus has instead decided to live by his/her own unique standards and unorthodox practices just like all the other unique and unorthodox individualists.

1:  Your friend in college who is from the same libertarian club that will not drive you home, even if you're stoned. A person who follows individualism, which is the ideal of self-reliance and winning according to principle without handout.

  * e.g.,  ... Me: Dude, my friends wouldn't even drive me home last night after I had a brownie! Friend:What do you expect dude? The'ye your individualist friends in that Libertarian club.

1: a person who rejects anything remotely close to mainstream culture to appear cool. in doing so, they criticise other people tastes and adopt a radical culture to be more of a different individual.

  * e.g.,  ... guy: hey i love indie music!

2: Enemy of the townie, can be ignorant at times.

  * e.g.,  ... ignorant individualist: indie music was so yesterday, you're so mainstream and uncool... 

 [ "Selective Individualist" ]

1: The proper term for someone who calls the rest of the world "sheep" and feels superior because he or she is "different" from them.

  * e.g.,  ... Selective Individualist: I'm better than you you conformist bunch of sheep. Me: Hmm... I noticed you still conform to things like eating and breathing. If you truly wish to express dominance over me, stop doing those things A.S.A.P. Selective Individualist: B-b-but... if I did that I would die! Me: Sheep!!!!!
