1: A individual that is very straightforward and serious, and rarely jokes around. Typically used to describe your boss.

  * e.g.,  ... Bob: Lets go race each other in golf carts!

1: When a person is up tight about stuff and is alway on task, doesnt try to have fun.

  * e.g.,  ... Mike Shannon is a hard ass

1: like a bad ass although they dont take crap from anyone

1: One who takes on a burden or difficult task in order to seem capable or brave.

  * e.g.,  ... Mr. hard ass said that he'd carry the heavy shit!

1: A person who does somthing incredibly brave and stupid at the same time. one who does an act that shock and awes people into having to say "hardass right there"

1: Sticking up for yourself because no one else will.

1: A perso nlacking morals and the capacity to think logically. likes to show off for the ladies by picking on ohter people he knows he can beat up or just people in general. likes to make rude comments to start fights.

1: Someone mean or tight on doing chicks cause he prefers guys

1: A term for someone who wrongly believes that they are the toughest person on the planet. Usually seen wearing TapouT apparel and driving oversized pickup trucks with loud exhaust and underglows. Most likely either a very short guy that has an inferiority complex or a latent homosexual. Usually seen only in the company of other captain hard-asses
