1: A space connecting two or more rooms in which slow people do everything in their power to make you late.

1: A nickname referring to scandalous bitches who can't keep their legs shut. They tend to suck things into their enormous vag and hang with doorknobs.

1: The act of running, walking, skipping, or otherwise utilizing a hallway for physical activity in order to occupy your body while thinking deeply about something or talking on the phone.

  * e.g.,  ... While attempting to write a short story for her school's literary magazine, she hallwayed for several minutes while listening to her iPod, in order to come up with a good idea.

1: To have a crush on someone you see daily in the hallway/ at school but they don't have any classes with you or haven't even had a conversation with you; you have no means to communicate/ you try to but fail

  * e.g.,  ... "Omg! My hallway crush is coming this way! Smile, and pretend you're laughing i'll make eye contact!"

1: That one fine ass person that you’ll see in the hallways of school that you lowkey have mad feelings for but can never get the courage nor opportunity to talk to them. You don’t even know their name yet they live in your head rent free. You’ve probably imagined scenarios of them. You’ll wonder wether or not the feelings are reciprocated. You’re not sure if they fw you because they look at you and sometimes smile at you, but at the same time they don’t bother adding your socials or even initiate a simple conversation.

  * e.g.,  ... I still remember that fine girl that used to look at me and smile in the hallways. I never knew her name but she was fine af. She’s my hallway crush 

 [ "Hallway Chirp" ]

1: A Hallway Chirp is a phenomenon that occurs in the dwellings of African-American people. It's a series of beeping sounds in an interval of several seconds that the said African-American occupants seems to get used to or not to hear at all.

  * e.g.,  ... *beep* Mike: Was that the smoke alarm? Dude you gotta change the battery. Jayden: that noise wasn't the smoke alarm, that was the Hallway. *Beep* Jaiden: It always makes that sound. It's a Hallway Chirp.

1: Super crammed, super fun social gathering held in a small studio apartment or hallway. Fashion, alcohol and drugs are all common, as are themes. (See hipster subculture)

  * e.g.,  ... Dude! I had so much fun at that hallway party last night! There really wasn't enough room to dance, but the unintentional handjob was nice!

1: Seeing a hot person you have never talked to before / even know there name but melt when you pass by
