1: HMS Dauntless is the second ship of the Type 45 or Daring-class air-defence destroyers built for the British Royal Navy. She was launched at Govan in January 2007, was handed over to the Royal Navy on 3 December 2009 and was formally commissioned on 3 June 2010.

1: The SBD Dauntless was an American dive bomber fighter plane manufactured by the aerospace company, Douglas Aircraft. The plane was produced from 1940-1944 and retired in 195 Over 5000 planes were built. The plane was famous for its participation in the famous, Battle of Midway. During the Battle of Midway, the SBD Dauntless dive bomber fighter planes managed to sink 4 Japanese aircraft carriers. The pilot Hartley Best helped sink 2 of the 4 carriers at the battles. The name SBD stands for “Slow But Deadly”.
