1: An insulting and usually sexist remark made in public towards a woman by a man. Not to be confused with compliments.

1: Whistle, shout or say something of a sexual nature to a woman passing by.

  * e.g.,  ... A man shouted "Hey sexy!" to Sally as she walked past the construction site. Sally realized that she had been catcalled! 

 [ "Catcalling" ]

1: The act of saying a rude, sexual remark to a girl passing by as a way to get her attention in some way. Typically done to boast about to other male-peers for so-called social recognition. However, catcalling only makes the victim have more reasons to remain happy and single.
