1: A contemporary yet cliched word, saying or catchphrase, often used by incompetent managers in an attempt to motivate staff. Which fails.

  * e.g.,  ... "Always a pleasure, Mr Ben. Never a chore." - greeting given every day by one of Mr Ben's former supervisors. Example can be found in the book "Managerial Bollocks For Dummies", priced £9

  * e.g.,  ... these are all buzzwords: hit single, clinical tests, mateship, fair go, coastal shipping, global warming, international law, morality, peace and justice for all, etc.

1: A word (or words) used constantly like cringe, cancer, drink bleach, kill yourself, and others until they completely lose their meanings and importance.

  * e.g.,  ... "How many of these fuckin' Youtubers gonna use buzzwords!!?" 

 [ "buzzword orgy" ]

1: The use of several buzzwords in a single sentence to make the idea being conveyed sound more important, or better than it actually is. Also useful when one needs to distract the listener from realizing that an effort was a complete failure.

  * e.g.,  ... Executive 1: Although it was not useful for this specific endeavor, by implementing a more robust system with increased functionality, users have the opportunity to make learning more interactive and engaging. Executive 2: Loose the buzzword orgy and tell me the truth. 

 [ "buzzword bingo" ]

1: A game played between colleagues in a meeting who are only half-heartedly listening to the speaker. Words and/or business phrases are arranged in a traditional Bingo board fashion and inconsipicuously checked off as the speaker says them. Suggestions include: strategy, direction, "the way forward," collaborative, etc.

  * e.g.,  ... Me: "Hey, let's play buzzword bingo." 

 [ "Buzzword Artist" ]

1: A useless simpleton who makes a living using buzzwords but doesn't contribute with actual work.

  * e.g.,  ... "That guy keeps talking about experience, workflow and engagement. He doesn't know shit! He's a buzzword artist." 

 [ "Buzzword Salad" ]

1: Buzzword Salad is a variety of word salad that heavily uses "buzzwords" rather than conventional words. Imagine an ad man or PR hack speaking in tongues about the next safe tobacco product in a harsh CDC report.

  * e.g.,  ... I thought that word-salad was pure gibberish, but there was a signal of the "buzzwords" here. Buzzword Salad is a variety of word salad that heavily uses "buzzwords" rather than conventional words. Imagine an ad man or PR hack speaking in tongues about the next safe tobacco product in a adversarial CDC report. Imagine an IPCC citation, which is legitimate, blurred with the buzz-word salad. Imagine the next CDC report, mixed with an antivaccine essay.

1: Someone who uses buzzwords in a nonsensical rant in an attempt to appear leet.

  * e.g.,  ... Oh Shit, Duck! Here comes Buzzword McJargon... And He's wearing his helmet again. Maybe if he doesn't see us he wont come over here.

1: Someone who over uses technical or industry terms to seem more knowledgeable about a subject than they really are.

  * e.g.,  ... "Yeah, I've worked on ERP's, OSS's using the latest ORMS all feeding into a No-SQL data base." That' dudes a fucking buzzword commando.
