People who work in hotels, restaurants or any other customer service jobs are very familiar with these kinds of people. There's a big difference between someone that has a legitimate need and a bugaboo; a person with a legitimate need will get what they need and go away. A bugaboo will keep coming back for no apparent reason other than to bug the hell out of the person/people filling their needs. also: someone that's constantly begging, bumming, gimmegimmegimme. Also; bugabooin', the verb tense of this word

I already told this stupid woman we're out of that brand of shampoo, but she's totally bugabooin' over it. She's threatened to call corporate office about it.
