1: A bold face lie occurs when someone is bold enough to lie to your face, eventhough it's obvious the person is lying.

  * e.g.,  ... Shaniqua told her man, Tyrone, a bold face lie when she said the baby was his. It was obvious the child was by a white man--it had blonde hair and blue eyes.

1: A term used in reference to newspaper headlines printed in bold face type, which are outright lies. Such headlines are only intended to sell newspapers, not to publish truth.

  * e.g.,  ... Although Truman won the election, the newspaper headline proclaimed "DEWEY WINS" before the election results were official. At best it was wishful thinking; at worst it was a bold face lie. So much for the credibility of the news media. 

 [ "Bold Faced Liar" ]

1: Someone who lies, and then continues to lie after being proven wrong with facts, and who can't support any of his lies with anything, and quite possibly living on a small hog farm in North Platte, Nebraska.

  * e.g.,  ... "The spitter was never arrested!" (links provided showing that the spitter was taken into custody and handcuffed, meeting the legal definition of "arrested".) "The spitter was never arrested!" "And you are a Bold Faced Liar!"

1: Sonething mac tells you when he is lieing , not just a lie a bold face lie.

  * e.g.,  ... Thats a bold face lie , what a bold face lie , dont bold face lie like mac.
