1: Slagging is a term used to describe a kind of harsher form of teasing. While this may seem like an insult to some, to the Irish, it's considered a behavior that shows affection or bonding, and, in some cases, is even used as a compliment.

1:  An individual who cares not for relationships beyond the realm of the sexual, these people sleep with many partners not caring about anything save for the moment of climax.

2:  Rubbish that is not worth the time or effort of paying attention to it, but none the less draws one in. Used to describe unpleasent situations.

1: Some who sleeps round a lot, no Caring for anyone

1: 1) U.K. criticism: a series of insulting, mocking, or critical comments.

1: A slag is the top crust of the bread because everyone touches it but no one likes it just like a slag as in a man or woman slag.

1: Usually used in reference to a lady who has a revolving door to her bedroom. Though less common, 'slag' may also be applied to males who spread their seed too thinly and on bad soil.

1: The addition of superfluous material (SLAG) to a “news story”, the addition of which is designed to prejudice the recipient’s response to “news”, thus guaranteeing that the recipient will “comprehend” and “understand” the story correctly—in the manipulative lights of those responsible for said slagging. NPR and Clearchannel are equally guilty but from opposite ends of the political spectrum since both “clue” the listener about the “correct” response to the story moreso than giving out raw data for the listener to evaluate.

2: I.E. the application of Bernays-esque “spin doctoring” to influence public perception while pretending to the objectivity of reporting. Political Correctness and Neo-Con Righteousness are equally guilty of the abuse. So named from “SLAG”, the impurities burned and refined out of raw material in metal working.
