1:  Certain special people, who watch over the rest of the people. The rest are called sheep. Sheepdogs prevent the 'wolves' or bad people/things from hurting the sheep. Sheepdogs understand violence is sometimes necessary in order to protect the sheep. The sheep really don't like the sheepdog. Sheep prefer to go along their merry way, oblivious to the perils of life. Sheep tolerate sheepdogs' existance in order to keep the wolves away.

  * e.g.,  ...  Police, soldiers, firefighters. A Sheepdog protects sheep from wolves.

1: When someone is walking beside you and they don't observe a straight line, but rather move into you in (unintentional) repeated, subtle bumps, much like a sheepdog herding cattle, forcing you off your intended path. The sheepdogger is the one pushing; the sheepdoggee is the one getting pushed.

1: An epic bearded band formally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (that's in Canada!) who were the first unsigned band to grace the cover of The Rolling Stone in 201 They pretty much fuckin' rock!

 [ "Sheepdog" ]

1: (n) a person that accompanies his friends to a party and tries to consolidate them, keep them out of trouble, holds back girls' hair while they puke, and makes sure they get home safely. Sheepdogs are not necessarily sober, but are distinguished by their genuine concern for their friends, never taking advantage of a girl when she is wasted or leaving.

  * e.g.,  ... Drunk Girl: I'm wasted are you wasted? 

 [ "Sheepdogging" ]

1: The act of carrying a weapon with you while out with family, friends, or alone. Borrowed from the example that most people are like sheep and are preyed upon by wolves (criminals), unless there is a sheep dog (armed person) present to protect them from the wolf.

  * e.g.,  ... I'll be out sheepdogging with some friends at the mall later.

1: When you’re doing doggy style watching porn together but the bottom has bangs and can’t see the TV.

2: Typically they are band members, wear girl pants and eyeliner, or cry and cut their wrists because mommy didn't love them.

1: Living, breathing and bleeding all things law enforcement or military. Wears tactical clothing outside of work, gets tattoos related to being a protector. Never shuts off cop mode. Also seen heavily in police and military impersonators trying desperately to over compensate for the fact that they are not in the aforementioned professions.

  * e.g.,  ... Hey did you see Jim the other day? He had someone pulled over on the side of the road in his personal car on his day off. He's gone FULL SHEEPDOG. 

 [ "sheepdog high" ]

1: The stage of an "under-the-influence" experience where one wanders in aimless circles for any given period of time, particularly around an object such as a couch or a table. This sort of perpetual, stoned circling looks much like a sheepdog's constant walk around a herd of animals. One who is affected by a sheepdog high is often too lost in thought (or dopamine) to notice their behavior, and therefore it continues until someone points out how weird they look or until the individual realizes it on their own.

  * e.g.,  ... "Greg was totally sheepdog high last night; he wandered around the coffee table for, like, twenty minutes before Steve asked him what the fuck he was doing." "I got wayyy too baked last night, I kept sheepdoggin' around the living room for no reason."
