2: 2) In right-wing fundamentalist Newspeak, the act of disagreeing with fundamentalist protestants and/or refusing to give them special entitlements, such as school-sponsored prayer.

  * e.g.,  ... 2) Christians don't persecute Wiccans!!! They persecute us by not letting us burn them at the stake!!! 

 [ "Persecution Fetish" ]

1: Someone with a persecution fetish - normally straight christian conservatives - believes that they are persecuted and oppressed to make themselves feel special and play the victim, when in reality those people are the ones who persecute others themselves.

  * e.g.,  ... Person1: ''It's horrible, we christian white straight men are being erased from media and censored''

1: One of the top fifteen factors that can transform a reasonable, amiable, friendly person with reasonable, friendly beliefs and ideas into a ranting, screaming, judgemental zealot with poisonous, nauseating, self-righteous dreck for beliefs.

  * e.g.,  ... Persecution complex can strike anyone, regardless of belief, creed or religion, or whether they disagree with you or not. Once you start believing that the whole world is against you, you begin to justify your abominable actions by the presumed hostility of the world. Mind you, it's a great way to not only make enemies, but also an excellent way of making people reject your beliefs and idealogy. 

 [ "Pi Persecution" ]

1: When the number π is being spied 24/7/365 online and trolled by envious or jealous numerical constants, who couldn’t stand her global appeal or fame, as thousands of mathematicians and math educators worldwide maniacally devote an obscene number of hours every year trying to discover hidden properties about her.

  * e.g.,  ... Constants like e and 𝛷, conspiring with √2 and i, have been repeatedly accused of pi persecution, because they’ve allegedly or unprovenly ganged up to serially and spitefully downvote any old and new Urban Dictionary entries on π every day. 

 [ "Vaccine Persecution" ]

1: When authoritarian regimes force millions of anti-vaxxers to get a shot even if their jobs don’t require them to do so, or if they are no longer working or have retired—they have a choice: jab or jail.

  * e.g.,  ... Guesstimate how many folks worldwide would rather face vaccine persecution by going to jail than compromising on their religious conviction. 

 [ "Christian Persecution" ]

1: What whiny right wing morons whine about anytime their criticized, thus showing they the contempt they have the first amendment of the US constitution. They will usually site the Roman Empire throwing christians to the lions as an example. Despite the fact that this was a punishment only handed to criminals and denying that early christians were arsonists and terrorists.

  * e.g.,  ... Christian Persecution is the excuse the right wing uses as an excuse to commit genocide against those not deemed white or christian enough. 

 [ "Persecution Paradox" ]

1: The " Christian persecution paradox" refers to the phenomenon whereby the more arguments you wage against a Christian that their actions are wrong or even un-Christian, the more convinced Christians are that their actions are correct and Biblical. ‎"And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake (Mathew 24:9)." This verse is the main problem. If a Christian does anything in the name of their religion and people react negatively to it, they take it as prophetic proof that they are true Christians. If you protest soldiers funerals in the name of God and people protest you, well, this proves you are a true Christian because you are being "persecuted". If you bomb an abortion clinic, if you violate the establishment clause, if you talk poorly about Jews, and people react negatively, then it's proof you're a true Christian. I bet if some Christian slept with goats and the rancher who owned them got mad, the Christian who slept with goats would say that the rancher's anger is prophetic evidence that the Christian was doing the Lord's work.

  * e.g.,  ... Wisconsin passed a law requiring mega-churches to pay taxes on their multi-million dollar income, and Evangelical Christians were more convinced than ever that they were True Christians because they suffer from a persecution paradox. -or - Westboro Baptist Church thinks they are doing God's work protesting soldier's funerals because the complaining survivors of the fallen soldier fuel Westboro Baptist's Christian persecution paradox. 

 [ "Christian Persecution Complex" ]

1: The complex where Christians are being oppressed and persecuted wherein reality their belief-system has been dominating countries, schools and political systems since like 300 BCE.

  * e.g.,  ... Christian: "One day Christians will be able to worship freely, without persecution." 

 [ "Persecution Complex" ]

1: In mental illness, it is a delusion where the person suffering believes there is a grand conspiracy that specifically targets them or individuals like them, akin to gang stalking. This conspiracy supposedly is trying to make their life hell and everything that goes wrong in life is caused by this mysterious group, sometimes it’s the government, celebrities or just random people (See Apophenia). Or (what this focuses on), when it involves assholes, they usually have a persecution complex over what is reasonable backlash to their shitty behaviour, using DARVO, psychological projection, gaslighting techniques , nutpicking, strawman arguments (and other logical fallacies) and then playing the victim. Claiming to be the victim of unfair judgement and mistreatment, when they in fact do that and/or advocate for it. Simple resistance to injustice to them is like an attack.
