1: An adult child who is expected to care for their deadbeat parent(s) at the end of their life/lives when said deadbeat parent(s) didn't take care of their now adult child(ren) when they were young and needed a parent(s).

  * e.g.,  ... Adult child: "I can't believe that I'm forty and my deadbeat dad is finally in my life, but only because he expects me to be his hospice care kid and financially care for him in his old age. Where was he when me and my siblings were young and needed a father?"
