1: Culinary term meaning appetiser in French, British English and most languages, but not in American English where for some reason it means main dish.

  * e.g.,  ... - French portions are ridiculously small! I once got an entrée in Paris and it was the size of an appetizer. 

 [ "Entré" ]

1: Fancy or good, or an attempt to be fancy or good

  * e.g.,  ... That's a pretty entré shirt that you're wearing today! 

 [ "Entrée" ]

1: The dish served before the main dish

  * e.g.,  ... Jackie was the entrée before the main dish 

 [ "Piece of an Entrée" ]

1: Definitely an innuendo.

  * e.g.,  ... "Dude I don't want anything serious with her. I just want a piece of an entrée." "What does that even mean." "It's an innuendo. You know how eggplant isn't really a side dish or an entrée?" "What are you talking about? It can definitely be both. Have you ever had eggplant parmesan?" "No, but that sounds great." "Let me make you some sometime! I know a bomb-ass recipe that I saw from Ina Garten." "Oh shit! The Barefoot Contessa! I love her so much." "She's the best."

1: That moment when you order your food then realize that you like how someone else’s food looks

1: This can be seen as the most exciting and rewarding event of any evening - the main course of a night. It can be romance...it should be romance....
