  * e.g.,  ... "Damn. I just had an encounter!!!!!"

 [ "cloth encounter" ]

1: During moments of extreme stress, fecal excretions can no longer be held within the body, and are thus subject to contact with clothing. Such an event is known as a cloth encounter, and these events can be subdivided into three types based on the consistency of the fecal matter and the nature of the contact. Encounters of the first kind involve mostly dry material, and cause limited staining of the fabric. Those of the second kind involve both wet and dry material, and can be expected to leave a mark that will require dedicated laundering. During encounters of the third kind, contact with the fabric is so sustained that fecal material actually passes through clothing and into the outside environment. For safety reasons, garments subject to an encounter of the third kind should be immediately destroyed.

1: A one night stand, or casual sex. Popularized by Craigslist and dating sites.

  * e.g.,  ... I looked up Craigslist to arrange a casual encounter for the weekend. 

 [ "sexual encounter" ]

1: Any interaction involving two or more people that results in the sexual arousal/pleasure/fulfilment of the parties involved. Usually, in person, but now commonly occurs through texting, social media, web chat, etc.

  * e.g.,  ... She was seeking a platonic friendship; not another sexual encounter. 

 [ "random encounter" ]

1: The biggest annoyance out of any RPG when you're exploring the overworld or a dungeon.

  * e.g.,  ... Pokémon did away with random encounters starting in Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, but they may still have the potential to bring them back in future games. 

 [ "Apex Encounter" ]

1: A rejoicing of sexual primates, if you will. This occur when two college ingrates attempt to conceive a child throughout the course of 3 months, using a different partner each day until literally a child is conceived during intercourse.

  * e.g.,  ... That was an epic Apex Encounter; the details: your first encounter will be on MM/DD/YY and TIME (EST) with one Mr. ABC. He's already been notified. You too will be meeting at location X. Congratulations on your first encounter. Many more to come! 

 [ "casual encounter" ]

1: When you just want to hang out with someone of the opposite sex without any additional obligations or expectations.

  * e.g.,  ... I need to take off work 15 minutes early today so I can meet up with a girl for our scheduled casual encounter. Hey, so tonight I have a casual encounter planned. What kind of wine should I bring?
