1: The word for a hangover from drugs. Usually associated with the day after taking chemicals. Generally feelings of depression, tiredness and irritability.

  * e.g.,  ... "Man, I regret munching those pills, this comedown is fucking awful" 

 [ "comedown" ]

1: The inevitable feeling after a drug-fuelled session. Usually leads to a heavy drinking binge to lessen or take the edge of the comedown. Many people liken the feeling to their head being melted, fried, fucked or mangled.

  * e.g.,  ... This comedown is a fucking beast, my head is fried.

1: The feeling one gets when one has munched down one too many pills or bombs or lines the night before and is somewhat FRAGILE

  * e.g.,  ... this comedown is fucking ROUGH 

 [ "comedown" ]

1: The consequences of running out of drugs like mdma or cocaine. You will crave it and not be able to sleep at all.

  * e.g.,  ... Just had a joint to sleep after the comedown from last night 

 [ "comedown" ]

1: in golf, on a chip when the ball is heading back toward the ground

  * e.g.,  ... Dude did you see that comedown!" "yeah! it was awesome! 

 [ "Comedown Kid" ]

1: A person who seems to be constantly coming down off drugs in work during the week, but then seems to come alive during the weekend

  * e.g.,  ... " uh oh here comes the Comedown Kid and he looks fucked again but then again it is 8am on a monday " 

 [ "Holiday Comedown" ]

1: The feeling after New Years for the first part of January where you realize the holidays are officially over and not only will you have to wait 11 months to re-experience the joy you felt during this time, you have to return to the norm (school, work, etc.) knowing there won't be much to look forward to for a while unfortunately. Usually lasts about a week to a month, though extreme cases may not wear off until spring. Similar to Holiday Withdrawal

  * e.g.,  ... Poor Tom. He's started his holiday comedown knowing Christmas is over and he has to go back to school on Monday. 

 [ "Sunrise Comedown" ]

1: The feeling that overtakes somebody after they have been out all night partying and not yet slept when the morning birds begin to sing and the cruel light of morning rushes over them.

  * e.g.,  ... I walked home from the rave around 5 AM and the molly started to wear off as the sun was rising above the horizon. The morning light gave me a sunrise comedown that left me feeling nostalgic, regretful, hopeful, but most of all, exhausted to my very core.
