1: Classy is not about clothes, makeup, hairstyles, accessories. It is not about being posh, or wealthy. A classy girl is kind, gentle, sweet, empathetic, caring. She is giving, loving... she is a good person. She is polite. She has good manners and is a very pleasant person to know. She is a good friend. You can dress classy, you can stand, sit, and walk classy, but true class is on the inside. If you gossip and insult, if you're judgemental, if you're cruel and hateful and immature, you are not classy, no matter what clothes you pick out, where you got them from, no matter how much money you have, no matter how you sit at the dinner table, you are not classy. Respect yourself and respect others and you will be classy.

  * e.g.,  ... Isabelle is such a good friend. She listened to me whine and understood when I became a bitch. She's classy. Joanna volunteers and gives to charity, she's so selfless. She's a real classy girl. Sarah is really polite and accepts people, befriends people, and never backstabs or gossips or bitches about anybody. She has class. Megan is very mature and wise. She's inspirational. I hope I can be so classy.

1: The most supreme level of coolness. The supremeness of which can be defined in the case whereby the 'classy' one can receive a compliment of the like, and yet by pretending to ignore that compliment then appears even classier than before.

1: Classy taken to the extreme. When someone is going above and beyond it's occasionally necessary to denote their actions with the "classie" label. Also useful for sarcastic remarks.

  * e.g.,  ... The tux and sunglasses combo that he was wearing could only be described as classie He threw up after the first shot, then stripped when he actually got drunk....so classie

1: of high class, rank, or grade; stylish; admirably smart; elegant.

  * e.g.,  ... For example, The sisters of Kappa Delta Chi are classy. It doesn't get any classier than a KDChi.

1: There's more to understanding class than meets the eye. Classiness is divided into 3 categories, or degrees. Classy to the 1st degree: used in a sarcastic way, generally meaning slutty, trashy, etc. Classy to the 2nd degree: used in a sarcastic way as well, but in more of a humerous way, generally meaning cheap, ridiculous, gross, etc. Classy to the 3rd degree: used in a serious way, generally meaning stylish, fancy, sophisticated, etc.

  * e.g.,  ...  "Dude, look at that girl. She's having sex with ANOTHER guy! That's like the sixth one tonight!"

1: An experience worthy of the term "classy" is rare, but it is possible to stumble upon one, regularly. Most often classy is used in the instance of a situation or description of something that has not yet been robbed of it's purity; of it's innocence. For the word classy can only describe something that escapes the cruelties of exploitation. Redheads used to be classy, until they were of course, dubbed "gingers."
