1: As in an idviudal who has capital, be it property, natural resources, means of production or labor, all of which constitute capital. In modern usage, meant to signify someone who believes or participates in a capitalist economic system, in which labor, capital, or other resources are bartered for paper currency which can be used to by whichever othe form of capital the currency holder desires. Capitalist also signifies someone who wishes to avoid excessive government involvement or regulation in this system of capital bartering.

1: A country that uses capitalism as its form of economy.

  * e.g.,  ... The USA and many other countries are Capitalist.

1: Someone who does not understand how capitals are used in the English language, and as such, capitalizes every word in a sentence.

1: One who believes in or practices capitalism.

2: Believes he/she should make as much money as inhumanly possible by any means necessary--or unnecessary. Commonly followed by "pig".

3: Capitalists are not sympathetic to the poor because they believe that because THEY became rich, anyone can. They believe that poor people are just lazy.

1: Someone who eats penis, and afterwords, denies doing so. This person follows a corrupt from of government in which the rich flourish and survive, while the poor and middle classes suffer. Capitalists also seem to think that poor people choose to be poor, and that life is only worth living if you have more money than everyone else.

  * e.g.,  ... guy1: dude did you see that capitalist eating penis?!

1: One who supports the ideals of a capitalistic or free society. Such a society has no restrictions on what individuals may do aside from initiating force against other individuals. Therefore, no one may harm or steal from another.

  * e.g.,  ... The United States of America is not a capitalist country. No capitalist country exists today. However, the countries closest to capitalism tend to have the most success.

2: This allows for a very large degree of individual freedom, as people may do anything that they so choose so long as no one else is harmed. It also results in a strong economy, as people are only able to consume as much as they are able to produce. Therefore, no one becomes burdensome or a "drain" on society. Anyone who is unable to produce enough to survive is helped by others through charities as opposed to taxation (or theft).

  * e.g.,  ... Steve Jobs is a genius at selling his products. He is THE capitalist.

  * e.g.,  ... Fool #1 - Ha, ha. Due to my capitalist greed I now have enough to live off for several lifetimes. Fool #2 - Ha, ha. Due to my capitalist greed I got a double portion of bread soup from this soup-kitchen someone else provides for me. Ha, ha.

1: Many times thought of as an antithesis to socialist, even though every industrialized country has varying aspects of both ideologies constituting its economic mode of production and sociopolitical system. People who support capitalism usually refer to it as "natural," associate it with hard work, and believe that socialism would "redistribute the wealth" or take from one class to give to another, as if the richest people in the world actually produced the wealth they hold and that everyone has a fair shot at that wealth.

  * e.g.,  ... There are two options either Stalin's USSR or the US, nothing more. If you aren't capitalist, you believe in mass murder and inefficiency.
