1: A term that wuld be used like High or Stoned but less known. It's origins came from comparing a person on a drug like cannabis compared to a buoy out at see. It is compared in ways like they are both in a way alone and isolated. Another comparison is they are both set in one place and on or focused to one certain thing. For buoys it is they attached to the bottom of the sea and they kind of dont really have a pupose besides show ing which way to go but nowadays we have gps's so we dont need them and they are irrelevent, When a person is stoned they are stuck on a certain idea and like buoys, were at one point relevent, but now just something that isnt important but still goes on and on. For your brain it is on a certain idea that you stick to and carry on from there.

  * e.g.,  ... At the party last night he was totally buoyed, he could barely even have a conversation because he was stuffing his mind and talking about cats for hours!

1: Persons, typically of the female persuasion, that hang around boats, boat docks, or marinas, hoping to score with a Captain.

  * e.g.,  ... Shannon had a reputation for being a buoy, and had nailed at least one Double Dolphin Captain, was always listening to blues music on the dock.

1: a male homosexual sailor.

  * e.g.,  ... A buoi was promoted to captain, even though he had sex with a man last night.

1: a woman’s breasts as they bob up and down in the water, often serving as a man’s navigation mark for mooring

  * e.g.,  ... As the water ripples gently set the buoys in motion, the men sighted salvation and roared, “Ahoy!”

1: a word that americans cannot pronounce properly.

  * e.g.,  ... Its pronounced BOY, not 'BOO-AY'!

1: an ex-US Coast Guard person. Usually of the rotund variety...with a bell on their head.

1: A term meaning nice tits. commonly used in seaside communities

  * e.g.,  ... Hey Jack, I was just docking my yacht over at Robinson's Wharf, and I saw Melinda sporting slightly damp white shirt. She has ridiculously nice buoys " 

 [ "Shit buoy" ]

1: A large piece of shit that merrily greets you with a bobbing motion when you peer into the toilet bowl.

  * e.g.,  ... Tracey: Will hurry up in the toilet. Ineed to go! 

 [ "neutral buoy" ]

1: A statement or action that cannot be clearly defined as a flirtatious gesture or a friendly act.

  * e.g.,  ... I really like her, but she keeps on throwing me neutral buoys. I can't decide if she likes me the same way.
