1: a.) A form of motorsport where a person can race anything from a completely stock grocery-getter to a full spec racecar can race against the clock around cones for bragging rights on what a good driver they are.

1: also known as Solo II racing-- the SCCA brand name for autocross competition. Solo II events are driving skill contests that emphasize the driver's ability and the car's handling characteristics. This is accomplished by driving a course that is designated by traffic cones on a low hazard location, such as a parking lot or inactive airstrip.
